Margaret Hurd

Margaret Carol Hurd, age 61 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Baptist Health of Corbin. She was born July 26, 1959 the daughter of Samuel and Jean (Johnson) Hurd.  She was a member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church, loved spending time with family and friends, going to yard sales and hiking. Her parents; and sister, Donnie Hurd precede her in death. Survivors include her brothers, Ronnie Hurd and Charles Hurd (Tina) both of Sawyer, Kentucky, and James Hurd of Hamilton, Ohio; sister, Regina Schrul of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; 16 nieces and nephews; 32 great nieces and nephews, 4 great-great nieces and nephews; and special friends at the Greene Pointe Apartments. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Mill Creek Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Church. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
