Mary Ellen Goodin

Mary Ellen Goodin, age 62 years, of Waynesburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 4:50pm at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 2, 1963 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Thomas Jay and Manda Alene (Taylor) Goodin. Mary enjoyed doing crafts and talking to her family on the phone.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Dewayne Goodin (Alicia), Billy Ray Goodin, and Terry Lee Goodin; eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Goodin (Carla) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Becky Stull (Jr) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Sharon Goodin of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Ronald Goodin (Krystal) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, and Jeff Goodin (Crystal) of Eubank, Kentucky; and sisters-in-law, Sue Goodin and Ruby Goodin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Thurstal Taylor, Marshall Goodin, Richard Goodin, Lawrence Goodin, and Linda Estes.

In lieu of flowers family request donations be made at the Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, May 22, 2026 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the Funeral Home.
