Mary Helen (Ramsey) Taylor, age 81 of Blue Ridge and previously of Murphy, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023.

Mary was born in Whitley City, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Flora (Waters) Ramsey. She worked as an office manager for Superior Restoration. Mary was a hard worker and loved her family very much. She loved the Lord and read her bible daily. Mary had a big heart and expressed it to those around her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her one and only true love, Harold Taylor of whom she was married to for 44 years; her brothers, Jim Ramsey, Morris Ramsey, Roy Ramsey, Freddie King; her sisters, Jackie Waters, Anna Ball, Opal Ramsey, Sandra Roberts, Freida Mitchell and Sheila Ramsey; and a grandson, Joshua Taylor.

She is survived by her son, Jack Taylor (Tonya); her daughter, Hilary Taylor; a sister, Debbie Trabka; her grandchildren, Troy Taylor (Kayla) and Tia Longwith; and her great grandchildren, Tori, Layla, Talia and Ridge Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy.

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy prior to the service.
