Melisa "Missy" Dianne King

Melisa “Missy” Dianne King, age 48 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. In accordance with her wishes cremation was chosen.

She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on December 4, 1971 the daughter of Llowell David and Julia Dianne (Campbell) King. Missy was a Clerk in Retail, of the Baptist Faith, loved singing, crafts, gardening, and her nieces and nephews.

Her parents precede her in death.

Survivors include her brother, David King (Jessica Flatt) of Gainesboro, Tennessee; sister, Joy King (Chad Spradlin) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Jenny Campbell Hammons, Rick Campbell, Linda Campbell Bowling, Dallas Campbell, and Kathy King; nieces and nephews, Jalynn Stephens, Trestan Stephens, Alexis Spradlin, Jula King, Alyssa King and Teagan King.

A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 2-5pm at the Indian Creek United Baptist Church with a Memorial Service at 3pm at the Church.
