MILFORD COFFEY

Milford Coffey, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.  He has attained the age of age 74 years, four months and two days.

He was born on October 22, 1946, the son of the late Leroy and Flora Branscum Coffey.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Randy Ray Coffey and a sister Rosalee Coffey.

Surviving family include four brothers: Bobby Coffey (wife Judy) of Pine Knot, Melvin Coffey, Alfred Coffey and Othel Ray Coffey all of Stearns, five sisters: Merk Smith of Whitley City, Hazel Strunk (husband Charlie) of Stearns, Martha Taylor (husband William) of Whitley City, Betty Coffey of Stearns, and Opal Mae Coffey of Somerset as well as several nephews and nieces.

Milford had been a coal miner and member of the East Appletree United Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working on cars.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Clark officiating.  He will be laid to rest at the Corder Cemetery in Stearns.  McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
