Milford D. Ross

Milford D. Ross departed from this life on Monday, January 25. 2016  at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY, being 71 years, 4 months and 11 days old.  He was born in Worley, KY on September 14, 1944 son of the late William Lloyd and Ruth (King) Ross.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his two daughters: Tonya Faye Ross, Sonya Ross, and one brother: Bobby L. Ross.

Surviving family includes: his loving wife Joyce (Watson) Ross, they were united in marriage on September 9, 1965. Son: Milford Lee Ross of Smithtown, daughters: Joann Ross of Smithtown, Michelle Marnhout of Smithtown, brother: William Gordon Ross, of Goshen, Ohio, four grandchildren: Jacob and Johnny Tucker, Alexis Anderson, Lily Marnhout, four great grandchildren: James Malachi Tucker, Abram Alexander Jax Tucker, Willow L Tucker, and Jaxon Tucker.

Milford was a Coal Miner for Blue Diamond, he enjoyed attending Dixie Freedom Church. He was a Jokester and would do anything to make you smile and laugh. He liked to talk on the telephone. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Milford adored his family.

Funeral Services: Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell  Officiating.

Visitation: Thursday, January 28, 2016 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Milford Ross Family Cemetery
