Nancy Watson Privett

Nancy Alice (Watson) Privett, age 88 years, of Revelo, Kentucky died Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the Baptist Health Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born in No Business, Tennessee on March 8, 1938 the daughter of the late Travis and Belle (Roysden) Watson. Nancy had been the Cafeteria Bookkeeper at the McCreary Central High School and was a member of the Silerville United Baptist Church and an honorable Kentucky Colonel. Reading her Bible, crocheting, quilting, working puzzle books were her favorite past times, but her greatest joy was being with her babies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alvis Privett; brothers, Leland Watson and Rev. William Delmas Watson; sisters, Cleora Blevins, Cordelia Massengale, and Veda Blevins; grandchildren, Bronnie Vaughn and Spencer Privett; great grandchild, Devon Goins; and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Privett

Survivors include her sons, Jeffery Privett (Cheryl) of Stearns, Kentucky and Jerry Privett (Victoria) of Russell Springs, Kentucky; daughters, Katrina Massengale (David) of Chatsworth, Georgia and Kim Montgomery of Stearns, Kentucky; sister, Esther Perry of Alexandria, Kentucky; grandchildren, Joshua Privett, Christopher Privett (Breanna), Tyler Vaughn (Heather), Lena Vaughn, Benjamin Massengale (Lindsey), Breanna Bowen (Justin), Mitchell Privett (Nikki), Grant Privett (Katie), Michael Perkins (Billy), and Autumn Clark; 43 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Whitehead and Bro. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Friday, November 6, 2026 at the Funeral Home.
