Nellie Worley

Nellie Clark Watters Worley departed from this life on June 10, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She had reached the age of 88 years, 8 months and 18 days.  She was born in White Oak Junction, Kentucky, on September 24, 1926 daughter of the late Arthur Clark and Nancy Flynn.

Nellie was a member of the Pleasant Rock Baptist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents she in preceded in death by her husband: Osborn Worley, two sons: Sherley Waters, Donald Ray Waters, four brothers: Arnold Clark, Raymond Clark, Earnest Clark, Kenneth Clark, two sisters: Dessie Whitehead, Bertha Clark, and three grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons: Wendell Lee Waters of Stearns KY, Samuel Jay Waters of Revelo, KY, Orlando Clinton Waters of Henderson, KY, three daughters: Phyllis Ann Waters Cook of Columbia, Maryland, Mary Helen Waters Harris of Ohio, Frieda Margaret Waters of Sullivan Culver, IN, one sister: Lilly Slaven of Muncie, IN, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In Lieu of Flowers make donations to the Pleasant Rock Baptist Church in Honor of Nellie.  

Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Pleasant Rock Baptist Church with Bro. Randall Meadows officiating. Burial followed in the Cooper Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
