Offie Allene Goodin

Offie Allene Goodin, age 76 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on April 20, 1947 the daughter of Delmer and Annie Ruth (Hicks) Ridner. Offie had worked in motels and nursing homes doing housekeeping, she was able to mechanic, plumb, build, and electrical work. He favorite hobbies were fishing, bingo, gardening.

Her parents; husband, Artman Goodin; son Randal Joe Goodin; brothers, Jerry Ridner, Earnest Ridner, and Jeffrey Ridner; and sisters, Deloris Vanover, Alma Higginbotham, Eleanor Mitchell, Affie Rose, Bonnie Swain, and Brenda Perry precede her in death.

Survivors includer her sons, Delmer Goodin and wife, Marlena and Artie Goodin both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Cathy Perry and husband, Wayne and Leatha Rose both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; brother, Ranzy Ridner of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister, Patricia Ridner of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Wayna Medoza, Dustin Ridner, Nikki Goodin, Shay Goodin, KC Goodin, Shainna Goodin, Natasha Goodin, Kloe Cummins, Latitia Rose, Lucian Thompson, and Joslin Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 4pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Bro. John Goodin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1pm Tuesday at the Church.
