Pamela Jane Duncan

Pamela Jane Duncan, age 69 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Jean Wadle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Muncie, Indiana on January 16, 1954 the daughter of Alfred William West and Doreada Mae Hines.  Pam had worked as a bookkeeper for the McCreary County School System, had worked tireless in the Animal Protection League, was of the Baptist, and enjoyed fishing, vendors malls, and flea marketing.

Her parents; brothers, David West and Danny West; and sisters, Betty Colston and Wanda Stanford; grandson James Robert Duncan; sister-in-law, Teresa West; brother-in-law, Bob Colston precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, James Ray Duncan of Stearns, Kentucky; son, Robert Ray Duncan (Wendy) of Stearns, Kentucky; sister, Ivadean Cox (James) of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bethany Duncan, James Duncan, Brandon Duncan, Magen Witt (Travis), and ; great grandchildren, Leah Witt, Ethan Witt, and Elijah Witt; sister-in-law, Wanda West; a daughter-in law, Monica Duncan of Somerset, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday, September, 4, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Inman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 12pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
