Paul Holliday

Paul Holliday, age 89 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on March 19, 1931 the son of Hiram and Flora (Grigsby) Holliday. Paul was retired from the US Navy and US Army, was of the Baptist Faith, and loved farming.

His is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed Holliday, Elbert Holliday, John Holliday, and Samuel Holliday; sisters, Alice Holliday Wallace Combs and Ary Holliday Taylor; and nephew Michael Holliday.

Survivors include his brothers, Victor Holliday of Miles City, Montana and Dennis Holliday of Cheyenne, Wyoming; nieces and nephews, Myron Conley Taylor of Parkers Lake, Jane Ary Taylor Powell of Stearns, Robert Wallace, Mary Ann Holliday, Judy Combs, Charles Holliday, John Anthony “Ace” Powell (Brianna), Karen Shoda, Bruce Holliday, Brian Holliday and Diane Holliday.

Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, November, 2, 2020 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Entombment to follow in the Holliday Cemetery in Perry County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 6pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
