Pearl Ethel Goodin

Pearl Ethel Goodin, age 68 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.

She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on December 31, 1956 the daughter of the late Euel C. and Joyce Thenal (Thomas) Rose. Pearl was a dispatcher for Shaw Industries and loved to watch soap operas and being with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, William Rose and Earl Rose; and sisters, Vicie Powers, Jean Stigall, and Dessel Lanter; and a niece Tiffany Renfro.

Survivors include her husband, James D. “Jimmy John” Goodin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sons, Christopher Wayne Rose (Wahena) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Jackson Renfro of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Devin Rose of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Senton Raymond Goodin of Ohio; daughter, Nicole Lynn Goodin of Ohio; brothers, Lester Rose of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Levi Rose of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Barbara Rose of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Marcella Barnes of Alabama; and grandchildren, Kaden Cummins, Kloe Cummins,  Matthew Young, Neveah Young, Jacey Young, Mark Young, Starlin Young, Katie Young, and Benjamin Wayne Young.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Timothy Corder officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Saturday at the Funeral Home.
