Pearl Smith

Pearl Smith, age 67 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died January 7, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on October 23, 1950 the daughter of Virgil and Ethel (Perry) Keith. Pearl was a member of the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church and had retired from Home Health as a CNA.  She loved working crossword puzzles and watching Snapped.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa Sprinkles; brother, Thurman Keith; and sisters, Nora Patrick, Verda Clontz, and Margaret Keith.

Survivors include her sons, James Sprinkles of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jesse Ridner of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughter, Tonya Sprinkles of Somerset, Kentucky; brothers, Larry Keith and Russell Keith both of Somerset, Kentucky, Roger Keith and Wayne Keith both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Myrtle Strunk of Whitley City, Kentucky, Elva Ball of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Pauline Partin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Mary Grubbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kay Ball of Corbin, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11am in the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the church.

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
