Phillip Ray Tucker departed from this life on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, being 69 years, 4 months, and 14 days old. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on June 23, 1948 to the late Harley and Lura (Jones) Tucker.

He was a member of the Revelo Church of God. He was a Coalminer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved tinkering with his Jeep. Phillip served our country in the United States Army, Vietnam War.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter: Jacqueline Ngo, and son: Jason Foster, brother: Boyce Dean Tucker.

Surviving family includes his wife Gloria Fay (Foster) Tucker, sons: Ryan Wade Tucker of Stearns, Kentucky, Christopher Foster of Murphy, North Carolina, brothers: Herman Lenville Tucker of Flora City, Florida, Leon Clyde Tucker of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Jeffery Tucker of Stearns, Kentucky, sisters: Sue Carol Wagner of Ocala, Florida, Janice M. Davis of Coopersville, Kentucky, Clotine Branscum of Columbus, Ohio, Sheila Gilreath of Pine Knot, Kentucky, grandchildren: Jacob Tucker, Joseph Tucker, Christopher Foster, Charolette Foster, Alana Ngo, and Addie Ngo and very special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Leslie Gilreath officiating.

Visitation: Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 12 Noon- 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Angel Cemetery
