Reba Gay Elkins

Reba Gay Elkins, age 86 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Tuesday September 6, 2022 at the McCreary Health and Rehab in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

She was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on March 6, 1936 the daughter of Leonard and Gracie (Ross) Barnett.  Reba had worked for Atlas Linen and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed watching birds, gardening and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Elkins; and brother, Marvin Ralph Barnett.

Survivors include her brothers, Carl Barnett and Marshall Barnett both of Etna, Ohio; and a nephew, Rodney Barnett.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Higginbotham Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
