Ricky "DeeDee" Lee Laxton

Ricky “DeeDee” Lee Laxton age56 years, of the Worley Community died Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on September 1, 1965 the son of Delbert Dolen and Dorothy Daugherty. Dee had been a moonshiner and member of the First Otter Creek United Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, cookouts, gatherings, and spending time with his grandson, Gus.

His parents and a son, Kenny Lee Laxton precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mona (Coleman) Laxton of Stearns, Kentucky; son, Justin Artie Laxton of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Mike Bell of Stearns, Kentucky, Bill Laxton of Stearns, Kentucky, and Donnie Daugherty of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and a grandson, Augustus Laxton.

Visitation will be held 10am-12pm Friday, June 24, 2022 at his home (200 Worley Rd, Stearns, Kentucky). Graveside services will follow at the Douglas Cemetery with Bro. William Clark officiating.
