Robert "Bobby" Allen Brooks, age 49 years, of Science Hill, Kentucky died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 2, 1971 the son of Robert and Zelphia “Irene” (Perry) Brooks. Robert had been a machine operator for Crane, Fiat, and Sany Metal, and member of the Davis Hill Church of God. He enjoyed model cars, classic cars, fishing, animals, flea marketing, but the dearest to his heart was his grandchildren.

He is preceded by his parents; two sisters, Melisa “Lisa” Parriman and Pamela Brooks; and many aunts and uncles. 

Survivors include his wife, Frances A. (Sage) Brooks; son Josh Brooks of Williamsburg; daughters, Amanda Brooks (Geoffrey Newton), Andrea Brooks, and Alice Brooks all of Science Hill, and Avery Brooks (John Bolt) of Burnside; sister, Danita Coffey and husband, James of Richmond; brother-in-law, Donald Parriman; grandchildren, Jasmine Irene Brooks, Oliver Clark Payne, Anastasia Rose Bolt, Jacob Allen Bolt, and Michelle Marie Bolt; nieces and nephews, Robert, Kayla, Donald Jacob ("DJ"), Nakeesha, Destiny, and Jessica; aunts, Della Loudermilk of Pine Knot, Ethel Seargent of Ohio, and Mary Connelly of Crittendon; uncle, Thomas Brooks of Kenton County.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, September 21, 2020 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes and Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Monday at the Funeral Home.
