Rolla Raymond Gault III

Rolla Raymond Gault III, age 56 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died April 17, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 20, 1966 the son of Rolla Ronald Gault II and Judy (Heath) Gault. Ray had worked in the Sheet Metal Business and was a former member of the McCreary Beekeepers Club. He enjoyed his bees, race track driving, and horses.

His parents and first wife, Allene Gault precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian (Marlow) Gault of Whitley City; children, Treva Marlau of Tallahassee, Florida, John Southern of Tallahassee, Florida, and David Cobb of North Carolina; Mitch and Linda Jernigan of North Carolina, whom he considered a brother; brothers and sister-in-law, Chuck and Mary Bennett of Louisville, Kentucky, Carrie and Jay Seevers of Whitley City, Bob and Dora Marlow of Whitley City, James and Evie Marlow of Washington, Brent Marlow of Whitley City, and Joseph Marlow of Stearns; grandchildren, Peyton and Justice; and a very special friend, Lorraine and Carl Moss of Louisville.

A Memorial Gathering will be held 1-3pm Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home.
