Ronzo George Worley

Ronzo George Worley, age 92 years, of the Mt. View Community, died March 5, 2022 at the Harlan Appalachia Regional Health in Harlan, Kentucky.

He was born in Wolf Creek, Kentucky on March 27, 1929 the son of George Washington and Frona Catherine (Coffey) Worley. Ronzo was a retired Coal Miner; deacon at the Cherokee United Baptist Church where he served until his health no longer allowed him to attend, and had served as deacon of the Mt. View United Baptist Church before for many years.  He enjoyed gardening, farming, tending his cattle and chickens, reading and listening to the Bible. He had a great love for the Word of God.

His parents; wife, Hazel (Thompson) Worley; brother, Homer Worley; and sisters, Lonie Godsey, Carrie Phillips, and Lola Jones precede him in death.

Survivors include sons, Darrell R. Worley of Stearns, Kentucky and Ricky Allen Worley (Lisa) of Bledsoe, Kentucky; daughter, Jeannie Taylor (Coy) of Strunk, Kentucky; brother Arnold Worley (Shirley) of Stearns, Kentucky; sisters, Thelma Jones (Kenneth), Evelyn Gibson, and Elsie Crisp (Bobby) all of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Heather Brandy Greer and Lisa Dawn Worley; and great grandchildren, Tristan Greer and Hunter Greer.

Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the Mt. View Cemetery with Bro. Larry Coffey officiating.

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
