Rosalie Y. Berry, age 89 years, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home in Stearns, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Berry, Bro. Bill Berry, Bro. Larry William Berry, Bro. Virgil Gibson, and Bro. Calijah Winchester officiating. Burial to follow in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the funeral home.

She was born in Long Lane, Missouri, on November 19, 1928 the daughter of the late Hosea and Clarinda (Long) Young. Rosalie had worked as a seamstress and interpreter for the Park Service.  She was of the Nazarene Faith and enjoyed reading and walking in the woods.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Clarence Berry; brothers Paul Young, Gene Young, Frankie Young, Homer Young and 2 infant brothers, Floyd Young Jr. and Charles Gilbert Young; and sisters, Rachel Berry, Dorothy Berry, and Susie Berry.

Survivors include her sons; Larry Junior Berry of Hartford City, Indiana, and Michael Wayne Berry and wife, Barbara of Stearns, Kentucky, daughters: Darlene Rose Winchester and husband, Larry of Strunk, Kentucky, Geraldine Winchester and husband, Manford of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Marilyn Moore of Stearns and Brenda Winchester and husband, Junior of Stearns, a sister, Pauline Appleberry of Missouri, 15 grandchildren: DeWayne, Christopher, Brian, Angela, Eric, Jon, TyAnn, Tammy Ann, Larry William, Jeremy, Billy K, Michael, Noah, Ryan and Calijah, 43 great-grandchildren and 16 great great-grandchildren.
