Ruth Faye Ridner

Ruth Faye Ridner, age 71 years, of the Sandhill Community died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on August 7, 1953 the daughter of Albert and Zola (Bryant) Taylor. Faye had worked as a house cleaner and was a member of the Upper Marsh Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Sewing, coloring, and puzzles were her favorite hobbies, but her greatest joy was playing with kids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Bill Ridner; a brother, Chester Taylor; sister, Margie King and niece Elizabeth King.

Survivors include her brothers, Roger Taylor (Shirley) and Lester Taylor (Ruby) both of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Ruby A. Bryant (Claude) of Whitley City, Lena Jones (Wendell), Wanda Jones (Ardell) both of Stearns, Kentucky, and Phyllis Dobbs (Wayne) of Whitley City, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 2pm Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Old Pigeon Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Peters officiating.
