Sandra Gail Spradlin

Sandra Gail Spradlin, age 73 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on December 24, 1948 the daughter of Arvel and Vivian (Phillips) Posey. Sandra was the owner and operator of the Paradise Café, Eagle Falls, Blue Ribbon Café, and Country Café, and a member of the Church of the Living God also known as the Log Cabin Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and family, but her greatest joy in life was the Lord and singing about Him.

Her parents; father and mother-in-law, Hobert and Vertie Spradlin; siblings, Audie Posey, Sharon Pierce (Larry); brothers-in-law, Leamon Spradlin and Frank Griffith precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Spradlin of Strunk, Kentucky; children, Kimberly Jones, Lisa Spradlin, and Presley Spradlin and wife, Shellie all of Strunk, Kentucky; siblings, Neva Griffith of Robbins, Tennessee, Arvel Posey, Jr., and wife, Bonnie of Muncie Indiana, Jerold Posey and wife, Lena of Vilonia, Arkansas, and Jureda Spradlin of Strunk, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bretni Spradlin, Chelsea Patrick (Kevin), Eric Jones (Lacey), Evan Spradlin (Brittany), Matthew Jones, Krystan Jones (Chance), Lyndsey Spradliin (Cody Daniel), Gabriel  S. Spradlin, and Presley “Isaiah” Spradlin; 16 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and 1 on the way.

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, November 4, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Ervin Foster, Bro. Malachi Barnett, Bro. Stacey Griffith and Bro. David Burton officiating.  Burial to follow in the Leamon and Harold Spradlin and Family Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
