Serena Miranda Manning

Serena Miranda Manning, age 89 years, of Erlanger, Kentucky died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Woodcrest Nursing and Rehab in Florence, Kentucky.

She was born in Harrogate, Tennessee on May 6, 1930 the daughter of Creed and Nila (Morrison) DeBusk. Serena was a homemaker.

Her parents and brothers, James DeBusk, Robert, Robertson, and William Robertson precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Roland Edward Manning; son Carlis Edward Manning of Erlanger; daughter Rhonda Gail True (Steve) of Burlington, Kentucky; sister, Fleda Johnson of Harlan, Kentucky; grandchildren Kellie Manning and Carley Manning; and great grandchildren, Kyle Wade, Ava Buemi, and Zara Graybow.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August, 24, 2019 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Saturday at the funeral home. Any donations may be made to the Barren Fork Cemetery Fund at the United Cumberland Bank in Whitley City.
