SHERMAN E. WATSON

Sherman E, Watson, age 64, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, November 02, 2017, at his home.

He was born April 3, 1953, at Marshes Siding, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Goldie (Bryant) Watson.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers:  Ronald Watson, Dorman Watson, Donald Watson, and Arnold Watson.

Surviving family include his wife Glenna M. (Perry) Watson of Stearns, children: Micheal Crabtree (companion Loretta) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Brenda Renfro (husband George) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Becky Howard (husband Roger) of Owensboro, Kentucky, Billie Bryant (husband Luster) of Whitley City, and Tyler Branch (wife Amber) of Whitley City, a sister Brenda Bryant.  There are 18 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a special sister-in-law Wilma Jones.

Sherman had been a log truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Israel Clark officiating.  He will be laid to rest at the Barren Fork Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
