Stella Irene Campbell

Stella “Irene” Campbell, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016, at her sister’s home in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.

She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky, on February 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Etta (Rose) Campbell.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Lloyd Campbell, James Campbell, Floyd Campbell, Lincoln Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Elmer Campbell and Delmer Campbell.

Surviving family include her sister, Frances Perry of Parkers Lake, and two very special nieces: Rita Strunk of Whitley City and Lana Sumner of Parkers Lake along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Irene was of the Baptist Faith and a Certified Nursing Assistant at Brent Haven Nursing Home for many years and dearly loved her job.  She loved spending time with children and loved her many cats and dogs.

Grave Side Services: Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Perry Officiating with burial to follow.
