Timothy Wayne Cordell

Timothy Wayne Cordell, age 54 years of Stearns, Kentucky died
Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in
Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 14, 1969, the son of the
late Jack and Judy (Duncan) Cordell.  He was of the Baptist faith,
enjoyed watching UK Basketball, eating good food, playing with
Dominos, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

His parents; and a brother; Tony Cordell, precede him in death.

Survivors include his sisters; Sandy Corder and husband, Tom of
Stearns, KY., Heather Armes & family of Wartburg, TN., Brooke Stephens
and husband, Blake of Knoxville, TN., JaKayla Garrett and husband, Zach
of Oneida, TN., a brother, Mickey Cordell of Oneida, Tennessee;  Step-mother; Kaye Cordell of Oneida, TN., nieces;
Angel Kidd and husband, Johnathon, Cherish Johnson and husband, Newman, nephew; Matthew
Sargent and wife, Shi, along with many more special nephews and nieces.
A special thank you to the Serenity Foundation staff who took great
care of him.

Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at
the McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scotty Corder and
Brother Tommy Tapley officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones
Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12:00 PM, Saturday at
the funeral home.
