Tommy Stone Brierley, age 72 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died May 23, 2014 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Jean Waddle Care Center. Funeral services were held Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Logan officiating. Burial was in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 25, 1941 the son of the late Hiram Fisher and Faye (Storrs) Brierley. He worked for Cincinnati-Hamilton Fans and Blowers.
His parents; wife, Margaret (Moore) Brierley; brother, Leroy Brierley; and sisters, Yvonne Baker and Margaret Clark precede him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Gary Brierley of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Michael Brierley of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Machelle Brierley and Sharon Sellers both of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brother, Raymond Brierley; very special nephews, Lee Brierley, Ralph Brierley, and George Brierley; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
