Tonie "Tom" A. Tucker

Tonie “Tom” A. Tucker age 72 years of Stearns, Kentucky died May 16, 2017 in Howard, Ohio at his daughter’s home.

He was born in Co-operative, Kentucky on June 27, 1944 the son of Claude and Ethel (Duncan) Tucker.  Tom was a carpenter, member of the American Legion Post #115. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His favorite things were watching Nascar, sitting on his front porch, and fishing.

His parents; wife, Dillie (Corder) Tucker; brothers, Ken Tucker and James Tucker; and sisters, Lois Pennycuff and Doris Marlow precede him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Schrienk and husband, Dan of Howard, Ohio; sons, Tonie Tucker and wife, Tina of Hillard, Ohio and Jeffrey Lee Dixon of Oneida, Tennessee; sisters, Fay Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joan Hall, Phyllis Smith, and Lorene Scott all of Harper City, Indiana, and Connie Polly of Montana; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Cox officiating. Burial to follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the funeral home.
