William "Bob" Robert Trammell

William Robert Trammell (Bob) departed from this life on July 8, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. He was born on Septe4mber 2, 1951 to the union of David Trammell and Nellie Myers Trammell in Cleveland, Ohio.

William served as a spy in the United States Army; He was stationed in Germany for most of his service. William then went on to spend ten years at American Bag Corporation, when the company shut down, he began working at Oakwood, until his retirement. William was a member of Marsh Creek Baptist Church, he loved spending time with his grandkids, fishing, watching western movies and college basketball games.

Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Ellen Louise Tramell Worley; mother, Nellie Myers Trammell, and his step-mother, who raised him as her own, Lois Trammell; father, David Trammell and his wife Barbara Jean Morgan Trammell, sister, Roselee Trammell; and brother, Tommy Trammell.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandson, Garrett Worley and wife Meghan of Strunk, Kentucky, great grandchildren, Nora and Lilyann; sisters, Kathy Tramell of Helenwood, Tennessee, Vickie Skinner of San Antonio, Texas, Anette Hughes of Loganville, Georgia, Mary Hubble of Daleville, Indiana; brothers, Bobby Joe Trammell of Winfield, Tennessee, Gary Trammell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Johnny Rammell of Strunk, Kentucky, Anthony Trammell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Jeff Trammell of Oneida, Tennessee, Ronnie (Doc) Trammell of Strunk, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends who will morn his passing.

Funeral Services are Monday, July 13, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Nate Howard Officiating, visitation will begin at 11:00 am until funeral time. Burial will follow in the Marsh Creek Cemetery.
