William “Ken” McKinley Bryant, age 77 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died May 14, 2017 at his home.
He was born December 7, 1939 the son of Johnnie B. and Mattie (Strunk) Bryant. Ken was a deacon of the Taylor Ridge Untied Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel, Ambassador to State Parks, and member of the Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874. He also loved to fish and hunt.
His parents; wife, Margaret “Sue” (Perkins) Bryant; brothers, Clarence Bryant, Billy Bryant, Bobby Bryant, and 1 infant brother; sisters, Ruby Bryant, Ella Mae Davis, Irene Vanover, Lois Sumner, and 1 infant sister precede him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Kathy Litton and husband, Steve of Stearns, Kentucky, Kenna Young and husband, Frankie of Strunk, Kentucky, Karen Meadows and husband, Jerry of Muncie, Indiana, and Lisa Soard of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Ray Bryant Lawrenceburg, Indiana; sisters, Ruth Price of Aurora, Indiana and Elsie Perry of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; grandchildren, Axel Litton, Chelsea King, McKenzie Meadows, Brian Bryant, and Michael Soard II; and great grandchildren, Hunter Bryant, Ava Bryant, and Lukas Bryant.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Lenville Maxwell and Bro. Earl Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial to follow in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
