Wilma Dean Baird, age 68 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died August 18, 2011 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday August 21, 2011 at the Davis Hill Church of God with Rev. Clay Cook officiating. Burial was in the Hayes Creek Cemetery.
She was born in Strunk, Kentucky on October 17, 1942 the daughter of the late Everett and Sally Elva (Myers) Anderson. She was a CNA for Lifeline and a member of the Davis Hill Church of God.
Her parents, husband George Baird, brother George Marvin Claxton, a sister Ellen Martin, 3 infant children, and 1 grandchild precede her in death.
Survivors include her sons George Baird, Jr., of Strunk, Kentucky, Bryan Baird and Bruce Baird both of Pine Knot, Kentucky, daughters Sheila Baird of Strunk, Kentucky, Shirley Baird of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lana Meadows of Strunk, Kentucky, and Barbara Hill of Ohio, brother Morris Privett of Pennsylvania, and sister Teresa Richmond of Pine Knot, Kentucky. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren also survive.
