Alma Fay Tucker, age 79 years, of Stearns, Kentucky, died Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on January 21, 1941 the daughter of Edd and Osha (Jones) Roberts. Fay had worked as a machine operator in the Shirt Factory and was a member of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed working puzzle books, but more especially her family and having them all around her.
Her parents; husband, Charles Golman Tucker; sons, Gary Dean Tucker and Jackie Wayne Tucker; brother, Dean Roberts; and sister, Wilma Dobbs precede her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Jesse Charles (Tina), Joey Alan Tucker, David James Tucker (Becky), and Michael Scott Tucker all of Stearns; daughters, Kathy Sue Jones (Eddie) of Monticello and Phyllis Marie Stephens (Ray) of Pine Knot; brother, Eddie Roberts; sisters, Wanda Coffey of Strunk, Sue Hatfield of Pine Knot, and Phyllis Williams of Stearns; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Per the Governor’s request, a private funeral service will be held. Burial will be in the Nancy Grave Cemetery.
