Charles Gary Strunk, age 74 years, 6 months and 10 days, of Whitley City, Kentucky, husband of Doris M. Lanning Strunk, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Charles was born in Wiborg, Kentucky on June 16, 1946 the son of the late Earl and Gracie Strunk. He had worked as an electrician and served his Country in the US Army, was a member of American Legion, VFW and Am Vets.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother; James D. Strunk and sister; Lois Donovan.

Survivors include his wife; Doris, son; Charles Strunk and wife Lisha of Cincinnati, Ohio, and step-daughter; Marlene and husband Danny Young of Whitley City, Kentucky, and 4 grandchildren.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen.
